The Municipality of Ma'aleh Adumim is developing the Good Samaritan's Inn and the hills surrounding it as a tourist complex, aiming to meet the demand for modern tourism services without losing the site's unique ancient nature.

Plans for the complex are focused in three main areas:

• The Inn On The Main Road - restoration of the existing building to accommodate incoming groups, including a praying and religious studies section. Development will include a motel and restaurant modeled in an authentic "khan" style.

• Interim Recreation Area - The area between the inn and the hills surrounding it will be used for outdoot activities such as horseback riding and riding-therapy for the disabled, mountain-biking courses, environmental arts, a country club, min-golf, fish pond or similar nature-oriented activities.

• An Ecological Hotel On The Cliffs - development of a 150 room hotel on the breathtaking cliff viewpoint. The hotel, preserving the silent, calm and spiritual atmosphere of the surrounding environment, will operate modern nature-friendly facilities offering activities for body and soul.
