Sol and Edith were a retired Jewish couple who moved to Florida. One day, Sol calls his son Mike in New York and says "Son I'm leaving your mother". Mike is all shaken and goes "What are you talking about?" "I'm divorcing her." "But dad, why? You've been married happily for 40 years!" "No, I can't take it anymore. Do me a favor - tell you sister." So Mike right away calls his sister Rachel in Chicago and says, "Dad has gone crazy. He's talking about leaving mom, getting a divorce. What are we going to do?" Rachel says, "Listen, we have to go down there and talk to them in person. I'll call dad and ask him not to do anything in a rush." So Rachel picks up the phone and calls her dad, "Listen, dad, don't rush into anything, think about it. At least give us a chance to talk to you first, Mike and I will be over in a few days." Sol listens to her, and agrees to wait at least for a few days. Then he puts the phone down, turns to Edith and says, "Right, the kids are going to be here for Passover, now what do we do about Rosh HaShana?"
