We’ve been paying thru the nose, year after year
For what exactly? -- no one is quite clear
Someone with some “sechel,” finally gave it the ax
By finally revoking, the totally useless TV tax

From the Vatican chimney, did emerge some white smoke

They can say Hail Mary’s galore, and light tons of candles
But nothing can succeed in covering up, all their pedophile scandals

A hospital going on strike, is practically a crime
But we can’t blame the staff, who were never paid on time
It seem the nurses are still waiting, for their salaries to be paid off
All thanks to a scoundrel, named Bernie Madoff

We can’t believe that Ehud Olmert, wants to return for office
After years of corruption and lies, he’ll never have a metamorphise
On second thought -- all his secret deals, kickbacks, bribery and wrong vvvdoing confessions
Makes him ever more fitting to his chosen profession

This past year, saw the passage of Nelson Mandela
Who the world was convinced, was quite a good fellah
But we’re here to tell you, that we’re happy to see him go

You’d think he’d be a pariah, after prison for 2 years sitting
